This past summer, I was the graphic design intern at a for-profit company called GiftAMeal. GiftAMeal's model is that they are an app where you can take a photo of your meal at a participating restaurant and 1.2 pounds of food will be donated to the local food pantry. Currently, they are mainly based locally in St. Louis, Missouri, but they are starting to expand to other locations in the midwest. One of my proudest design projects for GiftAMeal this summer was mocking up what partnerships with bigger chain restaurants could look like. I made material mockups so the restaurants could visualize how GiftAMeal could fit into their brand. I had to research the brands to figure out how to make GiftAMeal look like a seamless transition into the restaurant. This way, it helps the restaurants look good for being a GiftAMeal partner.
It was also really exciting designing assets for GiftAMeal's pitch for a partnership with the St. Louis Blues, the state's NHL hockey team.
